From Thomas Keating:
The great gift which Christ won through his sacrificial death is intimacy and oneness with the Father. On the day of his resurrection he said triumphantly to Mary Magdalene, "Go to my brethren and say to them that I am ascending to my Father and your Father" (John 20:17). That is the great good news! The experience of intimacy with God, symbolized in Genesis by God's daily walk with Adam and Eve in the evening air (Gen. 3:8), is now available once again to the whole human family.
This is the great good news! Though I end up chasing many things, the only this that is truly beneficial and fully satisfying at a depth like nothing else is the experience of that intimacy with Him.
One thing necessary...
Abide in me...
One with me as the Father and I are one...
The Bride of Christ...
Kiss me with the kisses of your mouth...
For your love is sweeter than wine...
Christ in me...
Draw near to me...
Hi Roger,
It's great to read that He is taking you down some of the same roads as us. We'd love to re-open communication, if you are interested.

Hi Roger, remember me? I am glad to see you are on the Journey. Diana and I have been on a journey since we left San Jose in 1980. We shared all over this country what we felt the difference was between the church as it existed and what God wants. There was not too much hunger for the truth and we saw churches fall and close up because of it. In Jan of 1995 we went to Kharkov in Ukraine and were overjoyed that people were so open to the truth. We saw former a Soviet propganda minister dancing before the Lord. In 1999 we went to Baltimore to be in what was to be the Last few months of the Baltimore revival. It was there that we met Tommy Tenney. Tommy has written a series of books about persuing God starting with "The God Chasers" These books are a must read for anyone on The Journey. Tommy states that what the world needs is not more of the same old thing, because if that was going to do it, then it would already be done. We don't need more anointed churches or anointed men; we need repentant worshipers pouring praise out to God so that a window is open in heaven and God and His glory comes down. It was God's glory coming down that started the Welsh revival. When God's glory comes down it will convict people no matter where thay are church or bar. Diana and I, Paul and his wife Nicole are working on opening a window in the Pacific northwest. Tell us of your journey and pray for us. Chasing after- Tom Ward
